Our Sauvignon Blanc opens with fresh squeezed lime and grapefruit rind aromas, with hints of tangerine and white flowers. The mouthwatering citrus fruit carries through the palate and finishes with a crisp acidity.
The season began with a dry winter, followed by a damp spring. A rainy March and April led to earlier than usual bud break. The vintage was significantly marked by a 10-day heat wave in August. Harvest started quickly and earlier than the norm with several varieties ripening simultaneously. Larger yields were ultimately sacrificed in favour of high-quality fruit. The vintage was intense and concentrated, yielding excellent, complex wines. The white varieties were very flavourful with just the right acid balance.
Traditional vinification, gentle extraction of tannins with temperature control.
